Plain-English rules for using ListCalc. Using the site means you accept them.

1. What ListCalc provides

ListCalc offers free, browser-based calculators and educational articles. Results are estimates for information, education and planning only.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, dietary, engineering or other professional advice, and no professional–client relationship is created by using it. Real-world outcomes depend on facts our tools cannot see — lender criteria, your health history, local codes and regulations. Always verify important figures with a qualified professional before acting on them.

3. Accuracy

We work hard to keep formulas correct (see our methodology) but provide the site "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Standards, rates and regulations change; a calculator may be out of date at any moment.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to disrupt or overload the service; probe or breach its security or administrative areas; scrape the site at abusive volume; use it for unlawful purposes; or misrepresent our results as professional certification of anything.

5. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, code and branding are owned by ListCalc and protected by copyright. You're welcome to link to any page and to use results and small excerpts with attribution. Wholesale copying of pages or republishing our content as your own is not permitted.

6. Third-party links

Pages may link to external sites we don't control and aren't responsible for. In future, pages may also carry advertising clearly marked as such; advertisers are responsible for their own content.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ListCalc and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its results. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.

8. Changes

We may update the site and these terms at any time; the effective date above tells you when they last changed. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
